Seller Guidelines

1. Seller Eligibility

You must be a registered business or individual with legal authority to sell products/services.

Provide accurate business information, including company name, address, tax ID (if applicable), and contact email.

Ensure all required certifications, licenses, or safety documentation are valid and up-to-date.

2. Product Listing Requirements

All product listings must be accurate, complete, and truthful.

Include:

  • Product Title
  • Description
  • High-quality images
  • Specifications (volume, type, grade, etc.)
  • Pricing (including tax/shipping if applicable)

Do not list prohibited, restricted, or illegal items (e.g., explosive materials, counterfeit goods).

3. Pricing & Transparency

Prices must reflect fair market value and be transparent.

Bidding is optional — if enabled, you must honor submitted offers if accepted by the buyer.

You may not mislead buyers through pricing manipulation, fake discounts, or hidden charges.

4. Brand Representation

Only list products from brands you are authorized to sell.

If you are the manufacturer, clearly indicate so in your listing or store profile.

Misrepresentation of brand, quality, or origin will result in removal.

5. Shipping & Fulfillment

Clearly mention shipping timelines and methods.

Provide tracking numbers whenever possible.

Delays must be communicated proactively to buyers via platform messaging.

Sellers are responsible for proper packaging and delivery.

6. Returns & Refunds

State your return policy clearly on your store page.

You must honor refund requests if the product is defective, significantly different from its description, or not delivered.

All disputes will be handled according to Fuel1Direct’s Dispute Resolution Policy.

7. Communication with Buyers

Maintain a professional tone at all times.

Respond to messages, bid requests, and queries within 24 hours.

Never ask buyers to transact outside of the Fuel1Direct platform.

8. Seller Conduct & Ethics

Do not engage in fraudulent behavior, including fake reviews or duplicate listings.

Avoid harassing, abusing, or discriminating against any user.

Maintain confidentiality of customer data. Misuse will result in legal consequences.

9. Bid Offers & Quote Requests

Bid submissions must include valid pricing, specifications, and expected delivery terms.

Only bid on listings you are able to fulfill.

Don’t spam or submit irrelevant bids.

10. Performance & Ratings

Seller ratings are based on:

  • Product quality
  • Fulfillment speed
  • Customer service
  • Dispute resolution

Poor performance may result in account warnings, suspension, or permanent removal.

11. Account Management

Keep your store profile, inventory, and contact info updated.

Monitor order activity and fulfill requests promptly.

Do not open multiple accounts to bypass rules or manipulate listings.

12. Prohibited Practices

Selling outside the platform (circumvention)

Misusing bidding feature to inflate prices

Uploading false documents or certificates

Manipulating reviews, ratings, or feedback

13. Audits & Investigations

Fuel1Direct reserves the right to audit any seller’s activity for suspicious or non-compliant behavior. If any violation is found:

  • Your account may be suspended or terminated without prior notice.
  • Legal action may be taken in cases of fraud, counterfeit goods, or breach of agreement.

14. By Selling on Fuel1Direct, You Agree To:

Comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

Uphold the highest level of integrity and service.

Accept the platform’s Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, and these Seller Guidelines.
